113--'The Secret' and Miracles -- This is the Truth about the popular film, DVD, book, and audio book called "The Secret."
It claims to be the "secret to life" and to making literal miracles happen in any persons life. Now, I am blessed to be called of the Lord (not for gainsaying, or vanity, but that I be made servant to Him and you in the presentation of His Truth inasmuch as I am given to know it - and for that I know that I have alienated many readers!) to present His sheer Truth to those that desire it. Therefore I tell you this; "The Secret" is NOT Truth, in the spirit of it, but IT DOES WORK.

"The Secret" claims to give you anything, anyway you want it; from things, to relationships, to happiness. This is TRUE. So those who essentially practice "The Secret" will find themselves locked-out of Salvation. For it is written in Matthew 7:22-23; "Many will say to me [Jesus] in that day [of salvation], Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity [evil]."
For in whose name did they desire these works and these things? Even in Jesus Holy name. But were they done IN HIM? Obviously not. Can then the unsaved or apostate work miracles of healing and wealth? Yes. But then how, if not through Jesus?

"The Secret" is, as it itself says, a Law of the Universe - which is to say, the Truth.
This Truth was expounded to His disciples and apostles by Jesus before His crucifixion and resurrection in several places in the New Testament. To paraphrase, Jesus said, "whatsoever you desire; ask, believing, and it will be yours."
Is God's Word therefore EVIL? God forbid, then we are all lost! Rather, Jesus simply expounded a spiritual LAW - like the law of gravity, or of all known Physics.
That this Law of God's can be used for gain in THIS world by unbelievers is no surprise. Those who could not understand why they were locked out of the Kingdom of God despite their miracles, held DEEDS to be their Faith unto Salvation. NO DEEDS can earn any human salvation, in case any should make such a boast, and God be found to be UNFAIR (Ephesians 2:9).
How then were the Old Testament Israelites cleansed of sin by animal sacrifices? In that time, the sins of men God chose to blink at (disregard; Acts 17:30; "And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent...").
Why to repent? Since God has made a piece of Himself the final sacrifice for sins - Jesus the Word of God incarnate.
Simply, Jesus is now the ONLY way out of sin.

So is everyone who uses "The Secret" damned? NO - it depends on whether it was used by a person in the congregation of the Body of Christ (Jesus' own Church) or not. So using "The Secret" is a sin? NO - not if that person afterward repents and is baptized into the Body of Christ. Else, it doesn't matter whether the damned used "The Secret" or not. For Jesus Himself told His disciples to ask, believe, and receive -- but in what? Faith in the Universal powers? Jesus did not say that. It, having been said by the Son of God to His disciples - to His own sheep - meant it to be asked in Holy Faith in HIM!

Sometimes scripture quotes Jesus as simply saying "ask, believing, and you shall receive." Sometimes a qualifier is added "whatsoever ye may ask IN MY NAME..." But did THAT save those who were locked out of the Kingdom of God? NO!
Then what makes the difference between using "The Secret" and being damned or saved?
John 14:13; "And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that THE FATHER MAY BE GLORIFIED IN THE SON".

How is it done, then, that the Father (God) be glorified in the Son (Jesus)? Shall the unsaved simply glorify God in his/her asking, to be saved from God's Wrath to Come? NO!
No secret, incantation, or deed can save a person, but repentance AND baptism (by water immersion and then the Holy Spirit) to God in Jesus' Holy name.

If the saints may move mountains with their words, they must have the Love of God and Jesus, then the Faith, then the Works of Faith, then comes their Righteousness awarded by the Lord. And even then Jesus said, "This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting." Mark 9:29. The author of "The Secret" claims to have taken her "formula" for commanding the universe from the Bible. How then did they, if such can only come forth by a saint in the Body of Christ? Because it is not of Christ. Truly therefore, JESUS WILL NEVER KNOW THEM. Then is "The Secret" a sin? In light of the answer to that I have a warning! Of a truth I have in effect used "The Secret" not knowing it, and received... but that in the Spirit, which the unsaved have no access to, and so it became another of those tender mercies Jesus gives to those who LOVE Him. Then I heard about "The Secret." I bought the audio book and practiced it -- and I could no longer feel the Spirit or my savior Jesus for days on end! So I proclaimed to Him that I will never practice "The Secret," "A New Earth," or ANY Humanistic (human-based not Jesus-based) Spirituality again. The Holy Spirit of God and of Jesus returned to me! GLORY to the Father and the Son! • 114--Afghanistan and Iraq Wars -- What of the World Wars. Were the soldiers sinners? God forbid! God rest their souls, and grant them regeneration in the Resurrection of the Just! Those were True Holy wars. It was either the Allies or Germany. And as those who lived then knew, it was God who won them for the Allies over and above their best efforts, and sacrifices. For example, no matter how the logistics of the Battle of Britain are worked out, the Allies always lose. How is it then that they won? Give God the Glory also, for without God the Allies would not have won. The attack on Pearl Harbour is said to have pulled the U.S. into the Second World War. Truth is, simultaneous with the attack a Declaration of War was to be delivered to the White House. It was much too late. To their minds, the Japanese therefore "lost face." This is their humanized idea of righteousness. So, with the whole West Coast of America wide open to attack, the entire, untouched Japanese war fleet returned to Japan. Tell me God's hand wasn't involved! Similarly when Egypt attacked Israel on their Holy Day, Israeli soldiers can tell you of unusual troops with sophisticated weapons helping push back the Egyptian army. Whose were they, God's? When Israel had to attack Lebanon (who had been bombing Israel) in the air -- Israeli fighter jets destroyed all targets as well as the entire opposing Air Force, without themselves losing even one plane. God is Great! When is war just? When there is NO OTHER CHOICE. In the World Wars, it was either defeat Germany or the world would have been theirs. But Iraq cannot be won. Neither can Afghanistan. The Al-Qaeda has an unlimited supply of warriors and money. Are these wars Just? They were a reaction by America to the 9/11 cowardly terrorist attack. Consider that America was founded on God. Now, consider 1 Peter 3:13-17; "And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good? [America has all but forgotten God] But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled; but sanctify the Lord God in your hearts... having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ. For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing." Therefore these wars are unjust. Therefore are these wars unjust in the eyes of God! They are blood-ridden scars on the American Flag. But warriors dead and alive, you were told to fight. JESUS FORGIVES! God have mercy on ALL who have died and will die fighting in Afghanistan and Iraq! •
